  DECEPTIVE PRACTICES. DON'T SIGN CONTRACT.
  When you sign a contract with them there is a section that you have to sign if you DON'T want to renew after contract is up. They will not point it out to you when signing. They also send no notification when contract expires or notification that they are now billing you month to month. Once you do find out they have already charged you a $18.99 semi-annual improvement fee. By the time the 30 day cancellation notice to them is received they will collect another monthly fee and refuse any type of refund. One other issue to be aware of is they WILL NOT develop a workout plan for you as they promise for free. They will assess you "waste of time" then give you pricing options for a personal trainer.
  Finally, when I moved out of state and tried to cancel my contract with them once before, they insisted on a signed affidavit from an attorney. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM. If you are looking for a better alternative try Anytime Fitness. Much better gym.
